Pinkish tawny color. Waxy pineapple and lemon nose, finishing just off dry. Per it's owner, other bottles were better a couple years ago, but all the same this couldn't have been a better match for the bitter-salty flavors of baked Belgian endives wrapped in ham.

Quite nice in a "lighter" styled wine as contrasted to its other sec siblings. Seemed mature but not old and not super expressive so maybe a bit closed down still. Minerals and crisp fruits still present. The Le Mont bottling continues to and has always sung a more broad and forceful tune.

Light gold colour. Very expressive, with pineapple and other exotic fruits. Long, concentrated and complex. A fantastic wine, especially for the price. Will last for many years, still.

Dark gold. The colour led me to Chenin Blanc before I even stuck my nose in the glass. Dairy, pineapple, wax and lemon. A bit viscous. Not dry really. Great acid. Well aged but could last another couple of decades I'm sure. A favorite style for me.

Obvious sur lie aromas. Powerful and dry in the mouth. Has lost fruit, but otherwise in good shape.
