Good structure, very tertiary. Was probably at peak a couple of years ago. No fruit really left, just notes of leather and tobacco. Acidity still good.
Revisiting it 2 days later, I feel it has actually retained some fruit, and on top of the leather/tobacco I'm also getting cedary cigar box smells as well. Maybe it just needed time to open up. Still worth drinking IMO, even on day 3. Tasty and quite savoury.

A very pretty, highly aromatic, floral, cranberry, and hibiscus bouquet. Rounded and balanced palate, that features a tantalizingly juicy attack, delightful mid range, and a back reveals the sleeker side of Grenache tannins...that linger through a gritty, floral finish. Nice depth. Not a protracted ager IMO, drink through 2020 or so.

Medium bodied, with good sweetness in its spicy fruits, drink this forward, round, fresh wine young. The wine was produced from a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah.

Consistent with previous note. Somewhat modern, nicely integrated, great acid, very good grip, and plain delicious. 90-91.
