Light cherry-fruited red with ripe flavors but substance behind. Can drink as a light red or chilled rose. Equally good with seafood or salads on a Summer day.

Light garnet, dark salmon color with strawberry, tart cherry nose. Open an hour, tart mineral, tart strawberries & red currants. Medium body and fruit, definitely on the AFWE spectrum and drinking like a heavy rose, well balanced with an emphasis on the acid. Liking this a lot after another hour, a good lower 11.11% Alc. summer wine.

This wine is very different from what I usually drink. Looks like rosewater, almost transparent in the glass. Drank it fairly cool (53 F) and thus not much on the approach. First impression: peach cider, strawberry. Solid integration of flavors, low to no tannins, not too sweet. I like it, but don't know what to make of it. Would definitely buy again, but from the reviews of other years, it may vary greatly from vintage to vintage.

What should be initially noted is the beautiful color of this wine - like drinking a garnet out of a glass! At first whiff, tight on the nose with fresh, red cherries. Opens and softens to pomegranate, crushed lily, and ground white pepper. Very soft on the palate, juicy with ripened, fresh cherries, cranberries, and blood orange, with soft, sweet spice of cardamon and anise on the back end and fading away with a medium finish of sandalwood and anise. Very soft and not much in the way of tannins, but still a great accompaniment to a calzone!

very, very light color showing very light extraction techniques... aromatically moderately intense with red fruits, minerals, some smokiness.. no new oak. on the palate high acidity, low palate weight, minimal tannins, low alcohol. balanced wine with shortish length, good intensity, ok complexity. wine has really nice finesse, a fine, friendly texture, good expression of place. really nice wine in a very subtle, light, aromatic stye.
