  Best after 2-3 hours of decanter time, but can be had at PnP. Lots of fruits and acidity, with smooth tannins. The wood is borderline intrusive, but mostly comes across as charred cinnamon. Very full mouth feel and whiffs of alcohol. All in all, I still like this wine, but it could get a higher score if the negatives (wood and alcohol) were more integrated.

  Popped and poured. Truly a beautiful bottle of wine. Exceeded my wildest expectations. In the middle of its wheelhouse, right now. Black ruby , with legs. Excellent nose, with plum and blue fruits. There is a nice density and richness the fruit in the mouth. Very, very nice. Really reinforces the impression I got of Portuguese reds when I was there last year. A beauty. 5-13-16-8: 92/100.

  Dark purple, dark fruits, blackberry, currants, cassis, nice structure, well integrated tannins, hints of vanilla long finish, lovely wine, still very young

  I first scored this wine in May 2017 (89 p). Have had a few bottles since and the wine has continuously improved and evolved. Presents itself rather differently now, much better. Still rich fruit, cassis at the fore, but with added layers of complexity, as well as more heft. Really like it as it is, a great wine. Previous bottle I had was in March 2021. Presents itself similar to that experience, so believe now in its prime window. Believe it can go for quite a bit longer though.
