Opened at Anvil. Dark fruits with some baking spice, but didn't get the forest floor as in previous bottles. Paired very well with duck breast. Another lovely bottle.

Nose of cherry, vanilla, and some spice. Not a ton of sous bois yet, but it's definitely an undertone. On the palate, raspberries and pepper. Soft but with good acidity. Can certainly develop further.

Magnificent. Complex and exotic nose of raspberry, vanilla and tea, with delicious smoky overtones. Quite fresh and clean. Given its Californian pedigree I feared this would be too sweet, but it's actually deliciously dry. A wonderful food wine.
90% of a great Burgundy, at a quarter of the price. Easy to see why Soliste is the darling of every sommelier in CA right now.
