  • I quite enjoy this wine which to me is the lighter easier style of red. Perhaps not all of the depths of a great burgundy but nowhere near that price point either. Easy to pair with a wide range of foods (we were having tapas) and the wine I kept wanting to come back to during the night perhaps because it was a warm evening and yet the night and food needed red more than white.

  • Christmas Eve which was meant to be with at least a reasonable amount of family but big Buffalo storms and COVID intervened and so it was just the two us in a large house in the Outerbanks on Christmas Eve so some festivity was due. We popped the bottle and watched some football and started a movie and just generally enjoyed sipping away. Very easy style of drinking. Lighter bodied Pinot which I appreciate. More fruits than anything else. Drinks well.

  • Our first halloween in a suburbia of sorts and one that gets a pretty good foot traffic so it was a busy night! Drank this over probably 4 hours and I'd say it's exactly what we were hoping for when we got it. Very drinkable nice wine. Has some age but not super apparent. Could probably age a bit more but not obvious that it's super long for this world. Drinks nicely and is enjoyable and for me perhaps a bit more expensive than I'd want a Monday/Tuesday wine to be (we did buy it post release) but it's the right kindof wine for those occasions. Glad we have some more bottles.
