Found this locally at half price and decided to take a flyer on this relatively "old" chardonnay. Glad I did! Served with grilled lobster tail, the wine exhibits herbal and pear aromas. Yellow-gold in the glass. Flavors of mango, peach, pear and oyster shell, with a moderate amount of acidity remaining. Medium mouthfeel and, probably due to age, a more dry white burgundy character rather than the new world style. Well put together wine that remains enticing.

Rich aromas of salted caramel, melon and pear are immediately inviting. Initially the palate has a creamy texture that is nicely complemented with bright flavors of apple and pear. The finish becomes a little rounder and structured with notes of vanilla and toffee.

From 375. Clear yellow gold. New world Chardonnay from a producer whose white specialties are Chenin & Semillon. Very straightforward fuller bodied Chard. Well made, balanced & good with food. No qualities I found remarkable, but nothing negative either.

Golfer yellow color. Vanilla notes on nose. Richer full bodied Chardonnay.

A bit too far down the over-oaked path for me... but an enjoyable, rich white. Buttery oak just takes over any subtleties that may be there.
