  • IIRC this is my first St.Péray. Often I find white N.Rhône a bit bland and I was struck here by the freshness and brightness. The nose showed white fruit and flowers, minerals and touches of grilled meat. The palate was medium bodied with some underlying "gras" and continuation of the aromas from the nose but the dominant element was saline and flinty mineral with lively acidity. It could be that this wine will never be better than now in its extreme youth. Good.
