  • Purple-red in colour. Nose of berries and some light wood. On the palate, acidic and a little sourish, tannins smooth. Classic cabernet sauvignon flavour. On PnP, a little watery on the palate. Much better on the 2nd day with the wine coming together with a soft, smooth body and surprisingly, some peach on the finish. Day1:85, Day2:87-89. More of an elegant style. Very much preferred the President's Selection range Chardonnay. One more bottle to go, will check back in a year or 2 to see how it goes. Decant and bring up the temperature for this if opening soon.
