This is an approachable, value-priced wine, particularly given that 2010 is a great vintage for Bordeaux. Overall it was pleasant and easy drinking, with soft fruit kissed by the earth. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed it...the bottle disappeared quickly!

A wonderful $13 bordeaux. Promised tons of gravel, according to the shelf-talker, and delivered quite a bit of it in a nicely structured bordeaux, with dark red fruits, a bit of dirt, and short-to-medium length. Nicely done for this pricepoint.

I was scared because of the previous review on this one. But I'm thinking maybe he got a bad bottle? This wasn't that bad. I mean, I'm giving it 91 points. Nose: gummy bears & lavender. Palate: danky barnyard, vanilla, tartness. It does have a short finish and that tartness can seem a little wonky, but overall (and for the price point) in kind of friends with it. 45% merlot, 15% Cab Sauv, 15% Cab Franc.
