Walla Walla Syrah Festival "Vintage Pour" (Cavu Cellars, Walla Walla): Three main rows at this tasting and this was in the lead as wine of the night but there were two other rows that changed that. Good acidity Stone, mild funk, minerals, blueberries and meat. Medium plus finish. Drink now to 2028.

Hey! This is still fine, regardless of the drinking window here. Trust me. Good for at least another couple of years, at this level, and then longer if you appreciate some older, softened Syrah.
Delicious, and still some good Washington Syrah type muscle. Medium to full bodied, all the red fruits, and nice spice notes. And THEN the finish, which is quite long, and refreshing. Yes, refreshing.

P&P. Probably the best showing of this wine yet. Quite integrated, drinking at peak. Lovely blackberry fruit, cracked pepper, and roasted meat. Touches of umami and a great finish of espresso and baking chocolate. Drink now - 2022.

Very nice smooth tannins. Fruit has leveled off and made this a very enjoyable wine. Drinking well now.
