Golden/amber. Needed some time after opening. Ripe , yellow apples, citrus and almond . Very fresh and nuanced, nice length with some bitterness. Crispy and frothy, Very nice with a kiss on new years eve.

Medium gold colour. Small and lively bubbles. Medium and developing nose with ripe yellow apples, ripe lemon, brioche, toast, butter, leather, roasted walnuts and wet stone. Medium taste of ripe yellow apples, baked pear, baked lemon, brioche, toast, butter, leather, roasted walnuts and wet stone. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Solera Champagne. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well as an aperitif, or with cured meat.

This had an initially quite oxydised nose, with some apples. Big woody taste. Quite special in its way though a bit crude, but very good food wine.
