This sucker was great. Wonderful aromatics of red fruit and subtle herbs. Lovely dry red fruit, herbal notes, subtle dirt. Tannins present but balanced as well as solid acidity. Been a while since I had an Oregon Pinot and this bottle makes me sad about that. The finish was lovely long and very pleasant. Tough to not take this guy out on day one. There was a little left on day 2 and everything was a little subdued so I think now is an ideal time to drink this.

Part of a flight of six Oregon Pinots from 2011 to 2013. Cherry was the consistent comment about the wine. Nothing objectionable, but nothing remarkable either.

Popped and poured, followed over 4 hours. This is still quite primary. Hiding my other bottles for at least 5-10 years. Hopefully this will make old bones, but I'm not sure... It was delicious but felt awkward.
