still extremely fresh and undeveloped, with SO2 evident! piquant floral-tinged stony, delicately fruity nose suggestive of white peaches is quite pleasing. lively, acidic savour with appealing soft fruitiness and good grip. fine, slow fade lingers agreeably.

sulphur overlay on otherwise good classic grassy-herbal sb nose with light floral-stony-chalky fruit vaguely suggestive of gooseberries; sulphur obscures taste more than nose, but still good tasty stony, well-rounded, peachy fruit, well balanced by acidity; in 3-5 yrs should be pretty darn good when sulphur blows off

really nice SB, not as acidic as New Zealand SBs, not as light in body as california SBs, a nice medium body with peach and plum flavor, worked with with pasta tonight

This wine is remarkable. Many wineries in the New World portend to make wines in an Old World style - very few even come close to what this winery has accomplished. Gorgeous fruit without being over the top; impeccably balanced with racing acidity and a vein of minerality that carries through the long finish. Truly a "Sancerre meets California/ New Zealand" style that will not disappoint - especially at this price point.
