Same as previous rating this month. Broke the thanksgiving rule of only American wines, but there was a request for something sweet. Beautiful amber color and honey flavors. We drank this down in a way that I do not recommend!! It might be awhile before I can face another sweet wine.
Another surprise treat from my mixed auction lot. Beautiful deep amber in color. I was concerned it would be past it’s prime but it is drinking really well right right now. All the lovely flavors you expect in a Sauternes —dried apricots and marmalade, honey, sweet but not cloying. Medium acid and shortish finish but overall a very pleasant dessert wine. Or in our case just dessert.
Clear deep amber. Clean nose of pronounced intensity with aromas of brioche, nutmeg, marmalade, orange peel, dried apricots, cinnamon and honey. Wine is fully developed. Palate is luscious, medium acidity, medium alcohol, full body, pronounced flavors of apricots, dried tropical fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg. Finish is medium minus. Very good wine to enjoy now. Should not be aged further

A great dessert wine - enjoyed by all. Lovely nose of pear, apricot, and honey with the same flavors coming forward when tasted. Sweet, but not syrupy on the medium length finish. Will look to buy more.

This wine is very sweet, almost too sweet; it also lacks acidity to give it more character. It also has some bitterness that I tasted on the back of the palate. Not a bad wine but definitely not great.
