At pnp, toasted grain aromas. On its way down, tastes like s**** might. Balance is off on the palate. Flavors are less over the hill than the balance is.

Interesting chardonnay. I liked it not everyone at dinner did. Pear and caramel with a touch of oak is the only way I can describe it. Clsoer to room temperature and while not a dessert wine I could see myself drinking a glass with a piece of pie.

Didn’t have a lot of time to wrap my head around this one this time, but fell flat next to the 2012 Walt La Brisa Chard. Much more evolved, graham cracker, hazelnut. Lacking much verve. Next time.
