This is the last of my lot of three I bought earlier this year (paso pesenti vineyard, napa valley) were the others. Wine is still drinking great!
Earthy mushroom umami and brown sugar on the nose with a hint of raisin, stewed cranberry/raspberry and orange rind.
Palate is lively! Jolly rancher fruit punch, raspberry, palate is not following the nose here. Tannins are tamed down. Acid-driven finish. Speaking of finish, we're talking 30-40 seconds.

Bought a bunch of these from the Turley library and it's gotta be my favorite Turley ever. Probably wasn't meant to age this long, but my gosh is it amazing. Still has plenty left in the tank, still has tons of fruit, tons of zin. Goo-goo, gaa-gaa, I'm in love.

Over the summit but not zipped up for the descent just yet. The power of youth is gone but a nice balance between smooth black fruits, zin spice and raisin/brown sugar flavors remains The finish is subtly persistent with haunting echos of the wild blackberry patch. Just the thing with barbecued pulled pork sandwiches.
