Very good village level Chassagne; worked well with the cheese and broccoli baked scallops. Not yet mature, still developing. Nicely balanced and flavorful, but at this juncture, it slightly lacks the depth and complexity associated with an exceptional white Burgundy. It may improve with further cellaring; could cellar for another 5+ years, if stored properly.

Just a little more interesting and (nicely) advanced than my previous bottle three years back.

Fine Vines Fall 2016 Portfolio Tasting (Fine Vines - Melrose Park IL): Tasting, brief note. Nice floral start with lemon custard and apple. Good flavors, slightly less complex. Moderate weight. Very good for its level, good value wine. Best in the near-term.

It took a while to open up to Apple, pear and lemon. Went well with shrimp in garlic sauce.
