Alcohol on the nose with some cherry and spice to taste. Has potential to age a bit more. Took a good hour to really open up. Early vintages, particularly 2010 before wine maker changed a bit better.

The Nearly Annual Lyon 10 Year Retro Tasting #24, Wines of Washington (Lyon Again, Eugene, OR): My score might be overly enthusiastic in a blind tasting... this was big but a bit hot. Nice mix of black and red fruit with some spice and a nice mouthfeel. Drink or the etoh might win even bigger...

This is in a sweet spot. A good example to support the argument that Rhone blends are more suited to Wa.

Strong berries aroma. Smell a bit of oak. Strong spicy notes. Very smooth and spicy finish.
