  Base neck fill. Excellent cork. Clear deep blood-ruby-brick red. Evolved savory bouquet of game, tobacco, camphor, plum, and scorched earth. Medium bodied, mellow, seamless, with tart red fruit still hanging in there. Better than a previous bottle. Cooler serving temperature helps this wine. Held up nicely after 24 hours under vacuum stopper.

  "Estate Bottled." Base neck fill. Capsule and cork in perfect condition. Poured and tasted. Clear, deep blood-ruby-garnet. Aromas and flavors of saddle soap, fennel, au jus viande, and stewed red fruit. Has that "generic old red wine" quality -- it reminds me of a 1973 gran reserva tempranillo tasted recently. The fact that this wine is drinkable at all, not to mention enjoyable, comes as a delightful surprise.
