  This wine showed so well last night, I decided to pop my other bottle. This bottle was even in slightly better condition than the last one, which is to say virtually perfect for a wine of this age.
  
  It showed almost exactly the same as the last bottle except it was just the tiniest bit fresher (please see my prior notes). It had lovely weight but also had good acidity and length.
  
  This was a pleasant surprise. Drink up!

  Looking shockingly good for a bottle of this age, this wine had a 3 cm fill. The wine's center was deep yellow with clear rims. The medium intensity nose showed pear, vanilla, and some honey.
  
  In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with some richness, ripe fruit, and good acidity. While this wine was not overly complex, it was attractively made and certainly highlighted how well Jadots's wines can last.
  
  This is still in the zone so drink up!
