Brutally dry and acidic. Would be best offset by creamy, blandish food. Much more enjoyable and multidimensional as it warmed. Liked it best at room temp.

Despite being "trocken" this is slightly off-dry, but that works well with the high acidity. Pretty classic green apple and slate profile, but the strength of the wine probably lies in the finish, which is heavy with minerality and salinity, as well as mouth watering acidity. Very good value.

A little bit of spritz upon opening and this is on the lower end of demi-sec, but in a way that is totally appropriate to balance the wine and giving it more of a feeling of ripeness, rather than just sugary. The spine of this wine is clearly the high acidity, the wet stone minerality and the lingering, mouth watering, salinity. However, while this retains classic notes of green apples, white peach & limes, it also possesses a distinct passionfruit note on the nose and palate that, along with the bit of residual sugar, makes for a slightly exotic and well rounded wine. There is a lot going on here for a $26 bottle. There is enough structure and fruit for this to improve for a bunch of years. With the right food, I could see myself adding a couple points to this.

PnP. Has matured well and held its own against a wonderful tomato and shrimp dish. 11.5%

Nice nose! Flowery, fruity, Riesling typical. Quite dry, enough acid for food -- had with sole in cream sauce, v.g.
