  • Nothing to add or subtract from my previous TN. A lively, juicy and moreish Sancerre.

  • This would be a perfect brasserie wine for quaffing with a seafood platter and it was pretty good with cod in a mustard sauce. It had a lively nose full of green fruit particularly lime and gooseberry but free from SB exaggeration and traces of cats' piss. The medium bodied palate was equally lively with tangy fruit, flinty minerals, crisp mouth-watering acidity and a slightly saline spine. I don't think this has the transformative ageing potential of, say, the best from the two Cotat estates and it will probably never be better than now. Good+ right now.
