Much improved in the bottle. An emphatic, explosively aromatic white wine. Usually Roussanne is best at 50-60 F. This one needs to be slightly chilled to 40-50 F, as otherwise the honeyed nutty Roussanne fruit is so explosive/enormous it overwhelms the blend which includes about 45% Grenache Blanc, a citrusy variety. Chilling helps bring it in better balance.
Pale gold, this is a pristine wine in the full throttle Andrew Murray tradition. We had this white wine with Shahi Korma, a spicy, gingery Indo/Pakistani dish with goat meat. The largesse of the wine was not intimidated in the least by this royal Mughal fare. 4 + 13 + 16 + 6

Very robust Rhone white blend of 55/45 Roussanne and Grenache Blanc. 13.5% listed abv. Enormous fruit. The GB dominates the nose, the R the palate. Really enjoyed the 2013 Enchante but this needs more time in the bottle to knit together. I plan to wait 6 months and try it again when warm weather returns.
If the wine's name suggests to you an adorable puppy, be forewarned that this is a full grown Golden Retriever.
11/17/2015 More approachable now. Definitely decant. Ideally it needs some serious bottle age before drinking, minimum 6 to 9 months. Should age well for several years. Quality is excellent, potentially 88-90.

Really enjoyed this. Nice combination of fruit and minerality. Even better day 2.

May need more time. Very strong Roussanne nose of lemon and banana and candied circus peanut. Full-bodied palate with lemon pith close. 4+9+15+6
