It's Cold in Chicago...Time to Drink (Mostly) Burgundy (Chez Schmidt - Chicago IL): From magnum. Open approx one hour before serving, this started with forward fruit and spice driven aromas, but a slightly short, musty sense on palate. Quickly improved with 15 minutes in glass, coming across as more fresh, while also putting on weight. With time, this came across as long and lean, with good density and nuance, seemingly Chevalier in style for me. I preferred this vs the Bouchard 2002 Chevalier also served, while some others disagreed.
