No decant, opened an hour before dinner. Subdued nose with faint fruit and stronger earth. Color is still bright with some bricking at the edges Fruit in the front, with firm tannins and balanced acidity. Finish is mouth-filling with tart cherry and oak. Drank with a pork loin roast with a garlic, olive, and capers tapenade Good match

First pour smelled and tasted great, so did not decant. Earth leather, and mushrooms in initial nose that added dark fruit after a swirl. Color is light, but consistent showing a bit of age. Lovely in the mouth.

Very worried at first pop— no fruit, thin, and acidic. Two hours later, leather and fennel in the nose, dark cherry, fennel and allspice in the mouth. Finished with strong acidity and grippy tannin. Color is bright, unobscured, with no bricking. Threw absolutely no sediment. A lighter style Brunello but with good character and more potential. First bottle of a case I bought a while ago.
