Compact aroma with some development. Forest fruit and some eucalyptus. Well integrated oak. Textbook Gigondas - fleshy, powerful, some alcohol in the finish. Well made.

Less overt pepper than the Vinsobres, but still a very lively aromatic expression. 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. More mineral than fruit on the nose. Has some fruit cocktail notes to the nose. From mid-slope vineyards across the village. A fresher red fruit expression, not over burdened.

Delicate aroma, perfumed and a little woody, supple attack medium sweetness and medium weak acidity, shorter aftertaste and more herbaceous than Reserve Rough, a little woody and tannic in the aftertaste. 80% Grenache at the foot and 20% Syrah on the northwest slop on the top of the hills giving the delicate floral aroma by some 80-year old vines.

Basic Gigondas and Rhone valley taste and aroma. Nothing particularly stood out positively or negatively.
