Dark ruby red, the nose has a spiciness or elements which seemed new.
Been drinking mostly Santa Lucia Highlands and Santa Rita Hills and RRV Pinots, so this may be typical of Paso Robles.
Popped and poured.
Tannins seemed a bit forward in the mouth, and while the berries came through, the dryness and tartness came through more.
There is no doubt some folks will enjoy the depth and density greatly, but I will wait another year or two to open any of our remaining bottles. Perhaps it will smooth out a little.

Solid Paso offering showing the depth of vintage and Adelaide sub AVA. Deep dark fruit and cayenne on nose, fruits continue on palate with earthy undertones. Very mild acidity for a Pinot making it drink much like a higher priced Carneros or Sonoma offering. Excellent quality for price point.

I didn't take notes but this was beyond delicious. It was a true stand out among Pinot Noirs I have ever had.
