Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 84 points

  • Color: Shiny ruby. You can see through the wine. Nose: Very spicy. Floral notes and red berries. Mouth: The spices are less predominant and the berries are more pronounced. Medium bodied and elegant wine. 13.5% vol. alc. but well hidden. Finish a bit short. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan. The half full bottle after having spent a day in the fridge has developed aromas of darker fruits like blueberries and dark cherry. Peculiarly the wine seems to be a bit harsher than when I popped the bottle. And the alcohol is more pronounced. Hence less 2 points (before 86).
