(NV Ramos Pinto Porto 10 Year Old Tawny Quinta de Ervamoira) Although this wine is light and stylish, Ramos Pinto knows how to blend wood-aged Ports, delivering a rich tawny that shows greater depth than its age would indicate. Amber-orange in color, with a golden meniscus. Spicy scents of cinnamon and nutmeg play against the fragrant fig and walnut in a striking, highly pleasurable nose. An initial touch of warming alcohol is quickly overtaken by crème caramel, sweet dried fig, and cashew flavors with a citrus backdrop. Enough acidity to carry the nutty sweetness through a delightful, persistent finish. Fit to Be Fortified
