Dark red, purple hue. Nose of black berries; quite of bit of alcohol shining through. Intense flavors of dark fruit; fairly high acidity. Long finish. Stands up beautifully to dry grilled ribs on the bbq on a autumny evening. This is from Chapoutier's younger vineyards and is priced accordingly. Good value for money. Will buy more in good vintages.

Soft tannins. Flowery nose, some garrigue, chocolate on the mid-palate. Well integrated tannins. Dark and solid.
