My lone bottle of this vintage purchased at auction for a swan song. Great structure and nose on this. A wonderfully aged Pinot that for me was drinking beautifully. Bought and enjoyed this wine over dinner with some wine friends. Great darker Pinot profile that had deeper cherry and spice box on the finish. Made me wish I bought more. Will move onward to the next vintage of this recently discontinued wine brand which was a combination of Mike Smith and Mark Carter.

Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for one hour. Aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, earth and spice. Black fruit, earth, spice and fine tannins on the palate. Very long, velvety smooth, finish. Medium bodied. Served with smoked chicken.

Very young. Nice Ruby color. Opulent nose of red fruit, spice and some oak notes. Medium+ palate. Very forward, with the fruit and spice backed by a nice tannic structure. Long finish.

Did not have the "pop" and life of the 2014 or 2015. Fair enough due to its age, but also just think it's the way this wine works. Secondary flavors more present. Little more forest floor, more subtle on the finish.
