This tastes like wine from a good producer in a subpar year. Consumed outside, the crisp acidity and light flavors were the perfect accompaniment to a very humid 92F evening, but this lacks the force and complexity of really good Vouvray.

I found this wine to be delicious. It is cetric and mineral, starts with what seems sweetness and ends bone try. There is honey and flowers in the flavors, but it is the creamy body that got me. The soft creamy middle of this makes it different and elegant. This is a terrific food wine for scallops, salmon, and shrimp. Also neat for a before dinner sip.

Hear, hear Duncan (below). Surprisingly expressive nose with citrus, honey and wham! minerality. Palate cleansing acidity, rather good body and length. Very nice with oysters and subsequently a pasta with clams, queen scallops and charred squid.

Just okay, which is perhaps not surprising from the relatively unexciting 2013 vintage.
