So typical of most current Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc. Definite herbal, floral, grassy and citrus nose, but not super crazy. The palate is fresh and lively, spicy, herbal grapefruit, peach, lemon/lime, melon, guava, gooseberry and other citrus fruits. By the finish everything sort of melds together, but stays true to it's Kiwi roots.

Nose shows a strong hit of cut grass and snow pea, with passionfruit in the background. Like the nose, the palate is very grassy, with passionfruit flavour relegated to the background by stronger notes of snow pea and green capsicum. Agreeable, but no great depth or complexity.

This was crisp, tart, nicely fruited and not grassy which is my preference for Sauvignon Blanc. One of the tastier SB's I have had for a while. Tasting pour at a wine shop.

Pale yellow in the glass, soft acids for a NZ SB, citrus lemon/lime, grassy note short finish.
