(Franciscan Estate Chardonnay) Light straw yellow color; oak, butter, nutmeg, pie spice nose; creamy textured, butter, oak, nutmeg palate with some balancing acidity; medium finish (13.5% alcohol; one of their better examples in the buttery style at this price point)

I had great expectations of this wine, based on previous tastings. Sadly, left very uninspired . Thin, no fruit, no character, and no finish. Very commercial.
