Little behind in some tasting notes. Had this a week back or so. Very savory with loads of iron, cured meats, olive juice, dried herbs and some blackberry thrown in to boot. Nice balance, drinking well and should hold here for 5 years.

As others have said: meat, olive, blackberry, licorice. Medium acid & tannins. There’s a bit of northern Rhône, southern Rhône and California all going on here. Drinking well now but no rush.

All of these Humbolt County wines by Cabot have been a pleasant surprise and they have all aged well.

Possibly corked - nose suggested it but modest fruit, ripe cherry a bit of blackberry, and some spice suggested not irredeemable.

Somewhat ordinary compared to the earlier syrahs. Doesn't have the same smoky, meaty element but still tasty.
