  Second bottle from same source. This is completely different wine than one first tasted. Not explained by individual bottle variation. This is more like a Sauvignon Blanc than a Chardonnay. It has a light yellow color with a citrus nose and melon notes. Grapefruit, citrus on the palate with little oak and no creaminess. I triple checked the bottle to confirm what I was tasting. Its not unpleasant but its not the wine I tasted two weeks ago. Completely inconsistent with my prior notes. ???

  Straw color. Bouquet of butter, melon, pear, apple and vanilla. On the palate, rich creamy butter, toasted almonds, honey, yellow apple and pear. The wine improved over 2 hours. Consider this wine if you like oak in your chardonnay. Better than I expected.
