  • This is just "wow". I have mixed experiences with Jadot's white wine and their ability to age, so I was skeptical when opening this bottle. Luckily, I was positively surprised. Fine straw color with still hints of green, tones of gold at the center. Wonderfully typical nose of tropical fruit like peach, pineapple and abricots, mixed with a vanilla/oaky touch, and that wonderful Montrachet touch of cardamom and fennel. Full bodied attack, sweet fruit up front, fine acidity on the mid palate, and an almost tannic feel at the end. Maybe a bit too oaky, but this has really stood the test of time. Drink now or keep for five years and more. Drink with food, preferable shellfish or grilled white fish.

  • At a dinner party. Seemed rather too much oak for fruit and body. Reasonable acidity and balance. Expected more.
