  • Grassy with some sweet fruit in the mid palate, works it out at $12.

  • Crisp bright with some cream in the mid. Didn't actually seriously taste it. Need to go back in.

  • Great, great daily drinker. Other reviews are missing the point. I did not even know about the environmental claims. This is in fact a well-balanced sauvignon blanc. Great for hot days and basic fish dishes. Lemon bouquet, short legs, low acidity. Can't beat the $9 Costco price. Dude, if you're looking for a wine to go with your sage-infuse, olive oil poached halibut, stay out of the $10 and under isle!

  • This pale yellow wine touts itself as being a "balanced blend of styles" (France's Loire Valley, New Zealand's Marlborough region and the cool coastal climates of California). It is cold-fermented in stainless steel and is "SIP Certifiied." The latter refers to Sustainability in Practice (SIP) and denotes "compliance with rigorous sustainable vineyards and wine certification with strict, non-negotiable requirements." SIP is purportedly "committed to standards based on science and expert input, independent verification, transparency, and absence of conflict of interest." Well, from my tasting of this marginal wine, "SIP Certified" is absolutely no guarantee of quality. This wine has decent acidity and is not offensive...that is the best that I can say. The citrus and tropical fruit flavors are muted, the middle is thin and the finish is truncated. No, this is not a corked bottle, as it is packaged with a Stelvin. My advice to any potential purchaser of this marginal "fluff" is that you should save the planet in some other fashion. Drinking this gimmicky wine may make you feel warm and fuzzy in the brain, but your palate (assuming objective) will tell you otherwise. Drink...never.

  • Edna Valley - Region 1(-). pear, guava, passion fruit, citrus aromas. has a spiced green note to the nose, just a little herbaceous. 4 clones of SB in this (530, Scotts fave, no Musque.). They use 10 different trellising systems, they pick at 3 different ripeness levels. still has a relative medium acid profile.
