Medium yellow-green color; on the nose lots of salinity with nutty impressions, quite full throttle for a fino sherry good weight and intensity on the palate. Again: much salinity with formaldehyde. This is a serious, and complex, wine which requires thoughtful sipping rather than gulping.

From 50cl, cork stopper. Salt, of course, rich/creamy texture and amazingly smooth, so the brutally alcoholic (16%) weight comes up and stings you unexpectedly. Nice wine, but too heavy for my taste. 90-91P

The Spanish Acquisition Sherry tasting (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Salty, savoury, slightly meaty, a little gamey. Nutty.. Juicy but densely textured the alcohol warmth is softer and this is smoother than the La Goya though also slightly oxidised.

From 50cl. Mute and heavy (16% alc.) Fans of super-fat Chapoutier C9dP might like this, I don't. NR
