i think this is starting to fade at this point. Would have liked to taste it a year ago. Pretty straightforward but muted red fruits. Lacking much more than that at this point, but still not terrible for a 10-year old flyer on the island of misfit toys.

This was the last of many bottles I have had of this vintage (total wine had a good number in stock back in 2016-2017). Over the years it has gotten better, the nose is still there, the finish is still there, this is a classic Shiraz from Clare Valley. It's drinking great still, and I think it still has a good number of years to go, before its past its prime. I wish I had some more to drink...

Had this bottle at Amuse at the VMFA Richmond, paired with a delicious Goat stew and rabbit pate, Very nice fruity Shiraz, a bit simple but good balance between the blackberry fruit and peppery notes.

Smooth and drinkable. Could use a little more depth. Should improve over time.

dark blackberry fruit, minerality, rust, pepper. Fairly dense, but with an elegance.
