This bottling continues to cruise in the cellar. Mostly dark fruits with hints of raspberry showing. Some pleasing roasted coffee notes along with chocolate round out the palate. A touch sweetness and acid provides energy. No rush to open.

I would call this wine good, but just a skosh better than your typical, respected Napa Cab brand. This wine, although decent was disappointing based on the notes that I’ve read on this wine. Nice color but the fruit was not as expressive an I have come to enjoy. In all fairness, I enjoy a big, well made extracted style, but I also like well a made elegant style Cab. Perhaps an off bottle? Or maybe this one is just not for me. 90+/ 91 Points at best.

Thank you to the users that have recommended a long decant. This wine got deeper and gained more body as it opened up. After a 4 hour slo-ox in the cellar and then 2 hour decant, it was very smooth, full bodied, with great flavors. A great wine.

Double decant and back into the bottle for 4 hrs slow ox, muted and stiff, so into a wide body decanter for 90 min. Showed some promise but needed more air but I needed a drink. Finally at 6 hrs post cork pop, this finally opened up.— about 10-15 min into the Dakota Shy Zoom event. Blueberries, sage, herbs, no oak, but some structural tannins in play, another 30 in, and this recalcitrant little sh1t finally blossoms with red fruit, blue fruit, touch of smoke and embers, no oak or tannins, just a sheer joy to drink with no hard edges and a nice medium 20 sec finish. Drank better at cellar temp so keep it cool if you’re in a warmer location like TX. 90 with 5 hrs of air, 94 with 6 hrs. This bottle was passive aggressive like my my teens—but just like my teens I’m more passive aggressive and extended air won the day! In the end the experience was worth the ride, just glad I had the foresight to pop the cork early in the day!
Very muted and not much going on at first. Most of the bottle was consumed by friends before it could open up, which it did after several hours. The small sample that was left in the bottle was very good the next morning. Yes, I'm the guy that will sample my glass on the night stand the next morning.
