Needed some time to breath. A little barn funk for a time, but ultimately brought a nose of violet flowers and camphor. Long palate of tangy dark fruit. Still, a little prudish funk that doesn't kill it, but keeps it from being a few points better.
Lovely, just approaching its plateau. Very dark violet with an opaque core, satiny texture that leave legs on the glass, aromas of framboise liqueur, leather, melted tar. Sweet yet rich and structured, almost chewy.
