  Dark color. Kind of musky but with nice dark fruit. Rather harsh tannins and lighter body. You really feel the extended skin contact during the amphora aging (8 month). Kinda reminds of a kakheti saperavi, only with higher acidity.

  Two hour decant, both the nose and the palate are a little austere but once you become used to it more fruit appears. This is on the tart side in a good way, with glossy tannins that don't interrupt the flow of the savory sided flavors.

  PnP. Very pretty, if a bit fruit forward at the moment. Very likely improvement in complexity and upscore with age. 12.5%
