  Well we drank it down with burgers, and all of us a little too quickly for that. So at the initial hits it was big, savory and massive, and paired incredibly well. I saved about a 1/4 the bottle for later which is when it started to display its elegance and finesse. So drink or hold.

  Unfortunately, this wine was a little cold when we opened. Now that it has warmed up and has been opened for a while, tasting a lot better. Very earthy, secondary notes of leather & graphite. Wish we had warmed up earlier

  Note from the third night open. Dark and opaque in colour, no bricking. Nose is deep and dark, with lots of blackberry and currant, tinge of smoke and meat, very pure. Palate is more of the same, juicy with fine tannins, lots of blackberry, cherry and some currant. Nice long finish. Delicious.
