Light colored. Good fruit. Very enjoyable, but not much different than a younger wine from the same vineyard, at least to my taste.

Lots of sulphur, needed almost a day to breathe it off. Nice mineral on palate, finish a little short.
Naso meno esplosivo e più chiuso, bocca troppo dolce per i miei gusti in questa fase, da risentire tra un po' di anni. Dopo un po' il naso si apre rivelando belle erbe officinali.
A very pleasant German mosel. Sweet, balanced, good fruit, minimal to no citrus.
Schatzkammer Tasting--German Rarities (Dee Vine Wines, San Francisco): Moderately deep yellow. Complex nose with mint, apple, and citrus. Relatively full bodied and sweet, could use more acid. Better on the nose than the palate, and not close in quality to the older JJ Auslese later in the series.
