Bright , sweet nose, cherries, berries and the sweetness of strawberry. The palate is fresh, lifted and what one imagines 'Chambolle 'should be. The mid palate has really filled out since the last bottle and better still the texture has become silky, elegant and refined. It dances on the palate mixing the red fruits with a little spice. Great showing today. (Footnote, the glass was salty from my tears realising I not only bought this in a sale but a dozen for £18 a bottle - the '21 BR was offered at £36ib a bottle)

Continues to improve, developing greater tertiary complexity, with the acidity and oak now very well integrated and balancing the fruit, which is richer than I remember. Very good quality Village Chambolle.
Pale ruby. Clean medium+ intensity nose strawberry, red cherry, violets, floral notes, fresh earth, toast, smoke, forest floor. Developing. Dry palate, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium fine tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, similar to the nose. Medium+ finish.

Solid showing. Good earth and soil notes. Cherries and some darker fruits. Good vibrancy for an off vintage. HN more of vosne producer in my mind but this was a solid Chambolle.

Fine with dinner, in a very good place. Good Chambolle character, open but with plenty positive development still likely.

Coming around nicely... getting even better than my last note in 2020. Smooth and round on the finish, which is atypical for 2013 vintage. Good juice!
