  • This needed +1 hour after decanting to open up – it is completely wasted as a pop n pour, and it needs a rich meal to do it justice. Fragrances of sweet red and dark fruit and exotic spices, bitter chocolate; with air there is a floral quality that emerges; mid-weight wine with a firm understructure of acid and tannin, even if it is a bit hot; very long, mineral finish; drink to 2025+; very good QPR.

  • Maybe a little more on the elegant and wispy side of things, whatever that means. Less ripe and brawny than the 11 (brawny isn't really a good word for either vintage, but). Beautiful grenache-y nose, full of history.

  • Ottimo vino.
Bellissimo Cannonau, potente, verace e molto inebriante (15° alcolici).
    Q/p ottimo (12 euro).
