  This bottle was fine - I think 2013 was when they crossed the line from boutique to commercial-scale.

  The previous bottle I opened a couple of years ago was too fruit forward and had too much residual sugar for me. Those characteristics have since mellowed out quite a bit. However the wine misses other components to make it interesting. Kind of forgettable, but ok for a weekday night with a meal. Not a bad QPR. This used to be around $20 before but have seen in lately for around $17.

  A very nice drinking cab. Everything has come together in balance to make this a great drinker at this price point. I recommend it highly.
