  I was hoping for more from a 2013 Napa estate bottling. Medium weight, short finish, nothing special but at least identifiable Napa cab. Plastic cork.

  Most of my earlier note stands, with this exception - this wine is less linear and much more nuanced than it was 6 years ago. And as a result, it further establishes itself as one of the best $20 bottles of wine I've ever had.
  
  Is it great? Iconic? No. But...great aromatics, balanced and resolved body. Yep. Nine years later under a synthetic cork. I was fairly surprised. I would push this toward 92 points, and while that surprises me as well, it is that good.
  
  This bottle is a reminder of why we cellar wines.

  Fruit forward with dark fruit and firm tannins. Full bodied with good balance. Nice with barbecued meats.
